Substantial Komatsu order placed by H.E. services

H.E. Services (Plant Hire) Ltd is among Europe's most prominent Excavator Hire Companies and is the largest in the UK.  The company has just announced a substantial order for Komatsu Construction Equipment through UK distributor Marubeni-Komatsu, an order which follows the purchase of over 100 machines in 2005.

Included in the latest order are 10 Komatsu PC450-7 excavators; machines that are widely regarded as the UK’s benchmark in the 45 ton sector. The first 3 machines are already working on a major civil engineering project in Wales with the 7 still to be delivered earmarked for large projects about to commence.

H.E.Services are able to offer their Customers a variety of attachments to fit their machines all complete with Masterhitch/Quickhitch including Breakers, Multi Processing Units, Shears, Digging Grabs, Augers etc. They also offer Vandal Guards for all their excavators from 3 ton upwards, to assist with vandalism on Sites. They offer the customers a choice of either Self Drive machines or Operated, and are able to offer very competitive prices and contract hire rates.

The Komatsu PC450 is a rugged, productive, all-European machine designed specifically for the European market and manufactured at a state of the art production facility in Birtley, near Newcastle upon Tyne. The machine delivers productivity, reliability and class-leading operator comfort in a robust, environmentally–friendly package.  In addition to the high level standard specification, the machines are fitted with HE Services proprietary ram guards which offer increased protection in tougher working environments.

Delivery to site of the Komatsu PC450’s will be handled by HE Services’ own STG02 transporters and escort vehicles to ensure that equipment is delivered to site with the minimum of fuss and maximum efficiency.  The company offers service throughout Britain from eleven strategically placed depots, as well as catering for long term contract hires throughout Continental Europe.  The Company has a policy of machine replacement every 30 months, ensuring Britain's most up to date fleet is constantly improved with the finest, most advanced machines available.

Maintenance and servicing are entrusted to a dedicated division that boasts a core of highly trained technicians. Equipped with the latest telecommunications technology, they offer immediate response in fully equipped vehicles specially developed for the purpose.

In addition to the 11 Plant Hire depots, H.E. Services also operates a successful National Hire Centre to ensure that customers have maximum choice in the way they deal with the company.
