New Year, New Image, New Logo! 02/01/2004
Marubeni-Komatsu Ltd has launched into 2004 with a brand new company logo. The new image gives a fresh and vibrant approach, with a modern brand styling. Marubeni-Komatsu was established in 1972 by the Marubeni Corporation as the exclusive distributor for Komatsu construction equipment in the UK and has endeavoured throughout this time to change and adapt to the working environment – this is just one more example of their forward-thinking approach to business activity and the importance they give to how customers identify this leading brand.
During 2003 two new additions were made to the management team within Marubeni-Komatsu, including Matt Yano as the Managing Director and Matthew Scott as Marketing Manager. As a result of the involvement of the two new Matts, Customer Support has been targeted as the number one priority for 2004 with the launch of the Maximum Output Campaign, which gives high profile visibility of the services provided by Marubeni-Komatsu.
The new logo will be given major emphasis in the marketing campaigns for the coming months building on the reputation of the two individual “mother” companies Marubeni and Komatsu and the combined strength of the Marubeni-Komatsu partnership in the UK construction equipment market.
