It's a cast iron guarantee!
27/10/2003

When driving an excavator through an internal doorway every millimetre is critical. Which is why Komatsu’s new PC09-1 micro excavator is proving to be such a hit with companies who have to operate in narrow spaces. By reducing the overall width by 100 mm, and increasing the travel speed by almost 50%, the Komatsu PC09-1 is a completely new design of micro excavator that is small enough to pass through spaces as narrow as 700 mm wide, but have more than enough power to handle a wide variety of digging jobs, safely and cost effectively.

The PC09-1 has been designed to give operators a safe and ergonomic space to control the mini excavator whilst the hydraulically adjustable track gauge gives excellent stability and the super low noise design, reduces sound pollution.

The hydraulic hoses for the arm and bucket cylinders are contained within the patented tubular boom and are extremely well protected from accidental damage. Similarly the patented one-piece, cast-iron slewing frame is unique and affords excellent protection to one of the most vulnerable areas on this type of machine. The additional design of the pressed metal hood means it can be fully opened to allow easy and quick access for general maintenance, although with reduced service intervals the need for access will be limited.

The PC09-1 is ideal for use with utility, construction and horticultural companies and is also available with the option of a built in demolition hammer.
