H.E SERVICES' senior management meeting and training event

Komatsu’s impressive site at Birtley, County Durham was the venue for H.E. SERVICES’ bi-annual senior management training event in November. The event was an opportunity for the ‘World leaders in digger hire’ to get together, to review their progress and celebrate a record year.

Joining H.E. SERVICES, and signifying their growing, strengthening relationship, were representatives from Komatsu UK and also Marubeni-Komatsu, the UK’s sole Komatsu distributor.

The 2 day meeting enabled H.E. SERVICES’ depot managers and the senior management team to discuss the plant hire industry in general, take part in team building activities and training sessions and review their achievements throughout the year.

H.E. SERVICES continue to invest in Komatsu products as part of a 2-3 year replacement policy, which strengthens their already impressive fleet of over 2000 machines available for hire all over the UK, through 12 strategically located depots.

The in-house fleet of low loaders ensures that once the order is placed, the machine is delivered to site quickly. Regular servicing and maintenance means the fleet is always in top condition; vital in such a demanding industry.

Peter Durey, H.E. SERVICES Managing Director, comments on the meeting and the Komatsu machines in the fleet:

“The plant we have in our fleet is used for a wide range of applications in a number of industries. Our comments and feedback from our customers prove that Komatsu produce good, reliable products. This, backed up with the support from Marubeni-Komatsu, means we will be able to retain our position as one of the most reputable suppliers of construction equipment”.

H.E. plan to introduce an online ordering system next year, which will work towards a smoother and more immediate response service.
