Luke Furse chooses Komatsu

Luke Furse Earthmoving Limited have been in the industry for over 25 years specialising in plant hire, demolition, earthmoving and other specialist services such as lake design and construction, forestry works and agricultural services.

They’ve recently added to their fleet by purchasing a Komatsu PC130-7 crawler excavator after being really impressed with another Komatsu, bought earlier this year.

Luke and his son Lloyd, who is actively involved in the running of the business, were both so impressed with the Komatsu PC210-8; in particular the driver comfort, easier maintenance and serviceability access as well as the machine’s capabilities, they felt that another Komatsu would be the perfect fleet addition.

In addition to the day-to-day running of the business, Luke is involved in the sponsorship of Lloyd in his rallying, in which he and his co-driver, Rob Short travel all over the country competing in national rallies. The latest rally saw Lloyd secure the Yokohama/ASWMC Regional Championship and, as a bonus, take the runner up spot in the BTRDA Junior Drivers' Championship.

The earthmoving business is the priority though, which is proven by his long serving employees, his commitment to health, safety and the environment and his high quality, personal service.
