Komatsu purchase for Stokey Plant Hire

Midlands based plant hire company Stokey Plant Hire have purchased a brand new D65PX-15 bulldozer from UK distributor Marubeni-Komatsu.

The decision to purchase the dozer, after many years using an alternative manufacturer’s machines, according to Director, Sarah Jones was based on value for money and availability.

The dozer will be used on a variety of projects and will fit into their existing fleet of over 40 machines that are hired out all over the country.

Stokey, who has been in business for 40 years, talk about comfort and quietness of the machine as features that are most impressive to the operator.

Powered by a Komatsu SAA6D114E-3 engine and high pressure common rail injection, it delivers ample power in a fuel efficient way meeting EU Stage IIIA and EPA Tier III emission regulations.

The blade shape of the D65PX-15 dozer makes it easy to handle a wide range of materials, offering good blade penetration combined with low blade rolling resistance.

Stokey’s dozer also features Komtrax, Komatsu’s impressive machine tracking system that allows the exact location of the machine to be pinpointed at any time. In addition to the location of the machine, it can also be used to assist in preventative maintenance and for monitoring working status and fuel levels of a machine, all on an easy to use website.
