£2 million investment in new plant expands fleet 05/07/2007
Gamble Plant, one of the oldest and best known names in the plant hire business, has made a massive £2 million investment in new Komatsu plant, adding to its fleet of over 1,000 machines available for hire with or without operators.
The Komatsu order is made up of 32 excavators, ranging in size from 0.8 to 8 tonne and 29 telehandlers comprising 9m, 13m and 16m machines. The excavators will be available with a full range of buckets, whilst the telehandlers will be fitted with jibs and buckets.
Available to hire as self drive or with an operator, the new equipment will be located at depots across the UK.
Mark Kirchner, from Gamble Plant said, “This investment will give Gamble Plant the most modern and reliable hire fleet of its kind in the UK and we are delighted that Komatsu has been able to supply us with the latest technology in plant.”
Brian Eden from Komatsu distributor, Marubeni-Komatsu said, “This is one of the most significant contracts Komatsu has signed this year and reflects the commitment that Gamble is making to become a genuine nationwide hire company.”
Gamble Plant is one of the largest independent hire company’s in the UK with over £8 million pound of plant available to hire with or without operators.
