NEW Ecot3 engines which meet EU Stage IIIA emissions regulations

The single most important advance featured in the new Dash 8 machines, is the newly developed engine. The low-emission Komatsu SAA6D107E-1 meets Stage IIIA emissions regulations and significantly reduces NOx emissions with an accurate, high injection pressure, multistaged, fuel injection system - without sacrificing power or machine productivity.

The new Ecot3 engine has been developed as part of ‘Komatsu Total Technology’ to be ecologically better for the environment and to deliver real fuel economy!

In the new Dash 8 machines radiator, oil cooler and after cooler
are side by side - for easy replacement and easy cleaning.
